Alan has been quilting for 25 years but has many craft hobbies as well.

"In 2015 at the tender age of 54, I decided, on a whim, to return to education.  I decided to study for a
degree in Contemporary Textiles and Products. Having been out of education for nearly 40 years, I had to do an Access to Higher Education first. After passing that course, I started my degree course
in September 2016.

 

After 3, long, tumultuous, and exhausting years I gained a BA (Hons) degree in Contemporary Textiles
and Products.

Lynda Jackson is a Handi Quilter Ambassador and Educator.  Lynda worked with The Cotton Patch from 2014 and now works with Pinhole Quilting providing Workshops as well as demoing Handi Quilter machines at various shows.

She is an administrator for the Longarm Learning Curve - a Facebook Group that is a wonderful independent resource and community for Handi Quilter owners around the world. She started a Pro-Stitcher Designer Facebook group in January 2020 to support and provide a focal point for users questions about the Handi Quilter digitising software.

Lynda uses an HQ18 Avante Longarm with Pro Stitcher and a HQ Infinity hand-guided machine.

Situated in Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire, I am able to offer you longarm quilting services from my home studio.  Whether you want an all over edge to edge design or would prefer custom quilting I would be happy to discuss your requirements.  I have a 12 foot frame for my Handi Quilter Amara with Pro-Stitcher and so can easily accommodate the larger quilts which are difficult to quilt on a domestic sewing machine.

Natalie provides a longarm quilting service from her Harmony Quilt Studio in Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire. She uses a Handi Quilter Amara with Pro Stitcher to produce beautiful edge to edge quilting designs using the computerised system. In 2022 she added a Simply Sixteen with quilt from the back kit so that customers can quilt their own quilts.

Claire offers Longarm Quilting Services on her HQ18 Avante Longarm based in Suffolk. She can quilt quilts up to 120”/10 feet wide.

"My preferred approach is  free motion quilting – I don’t use a computerised system.  This can either be an all over design or a more custom approach where the quilting design starts with the piecing or applique and seeks to enhance it.  I do also use hand guided pantographs."

SJs Quilting

Sarah and Andy through the family business Pauline's Patchwork Ltd have been providing a long arm quilting service since 2016.  To date they have quilted over 200 customer quilts.  The demand grew to the point where they purchased a second longarm quilting machine.

 

Both machines are HandiQuilter Avante long arm sewing machines on 10 foot studio frames, computer controlled using the latest Pro-Stitcher software.

 

Andy is a HandiQuilter approved service technician and installer, covering the south coast of England.
