Terms and Conditions for Vendulka Battais Events 2022

1. Details of all the workshops are shown on our website at https://www.handiquilter.co.uk/pinhole-quilting-showroom-workshops-57-c.asp

2. The booking costs are £225 for the two-day workshop and £150 for the one-day workshop and includes: (i) teaching, some class materials, backing fabric and wadding as well as other items shown on the course description (there may be some optional items that can be brought to the Event or available at additional charge). It does not include the fabrics for the sleeveless jackets, the pattern, the calico or the top fabric. (ii)  Lunches on course days (iii) One person per machine for machine sessions

3. An initial non-refundable deposit of £50 to be paid at the time of booking.  The balance of the course payments are due by Friday 10th September 2022 .

4. Should the event be cancelled by Pinhole Quilting due to unforeseen circumstances, any payments made will be refunded in full.  Delegates should ensure that they have suitable travel insurance to cover any other costs incurred such as hotel costs. In the event of cancellation by the Organiser no consequential loss is payable. 

5. Cancellations by delegates are not refundable.  At its discretion, Pinhole Quilting may refund course fees if it is able to fill the place with another person.  Any refund will be subject to an administration fee and other costs incurred.  It is recommended that you take out suitable insurance to cover circumstances that might lead to you being unable to attend.

6. Pinhole Quilting will provide all the machines for hands-on classes at the event.  Delegates have booked a place for either a Sitdown (Stationary) machine or a Standup (Moveable) machine.  Whilst every effort will be made to match delegates to the machine they own, this will not be possible in every case and cannot be guaranteed.

7. If for any reason the teacher is unable to attend the event, the organiser will use its best endeavours to find a suitable alternative.  This may lead to changes in the timetable and classes.  In such event no refund shall be due to delegates booked on the event.

8. Acts of God or other Force Majeure causes outside the control of the organisers shall similarly not be reason for a refund.

9. Failure to pay any amount due by its due date may lead to forfeiture of your Booking.
