Where can we stay?
Hotels

Pershore is only 3 miles away and there are a number of places to stay in Pershore or in the surrounding villages such as The Wood Norton near Evesham. The Angel Hotel in Pershore is variable in quality.

There is a Premier Inn by Evesham Country Park.

B&Bs

There are a number of B&Bs close by our Showroom that are well-reviewed online such as The Cobblers and Arbour House. We haven't had reviews of the others but the ones listed have good reviews online (October 2018).
The Cobblers in Bishampton. (Some customers have stayed here and said it was very good.)
Arbour House at Wyre Piddle
Upton Snodsbury Thatched Cottage
For a longer stay in the area the Shepherds Hut in Abberton is beautiful. We buy our beef from owners of the farm who produce award winning Aberdeen Angus. Great reviews on airbnb or book direct.

Shepherds Hut Retreat at Abberton

If you're staying for longer then the Shepherds Hut at Abberton is highly recommended - we know the owners and buy their prize-winning Aberdeen Angus beef from them. Catriona and Alex are lovely! It's only 5 minutes away too.

There are a number of other options on Airbnb. One we have been recommended in particular which is only 5 minutes away is on this link to AirBnB

Learn the basics and beyond from Handi Quilter Ambassador Lynda Jackson. This class is designed for Handi Quilter longarm machine owners who are new to their machine, had training when their machine was installed and are ready to go further or for those looking for a refresher of the basics.

The course cost is £120. If you purchased your machine from Pinhole Quilting you may be entitled to one FREE Foundation training course when you purchased your machine. If you have not received your discount code but think you should have done please contact us. If you purchased your machine from another dealer, purchased it second hand or in another country you are very welcome to join us.

Sitdown and standup longarm will be taught simultaneously on the same day as there are a number of techniques that are common to all Handi Quilter machines.

Student to machine ratio wil be a maximum of two students per machine for standup and one student per machine for sitdown. The sitdown machines will be a mix of Handi Quilter Sweet Sixteen and Pfaff powerquilter 16.0. Many of the features of the two models are similar and where they are different this will be explained. The standup machines are the Avante and Simply Sixteen on the Studio Frame. Although we do not have a Little Foot Frame at Lynda's studio the loading technique can still be explained using the Studio Frame. Many of the techniques taught apply to all machines. We will try to match you to the machine you purchased but on some occasions this will not be possible (or may be possible but only for part of the day).

Please note that we don't have an Amara or Infinity to use for hands on at the class. However, the screens on the Infinity that Lynda has can be shown for the purposes of understanding the difference between that and the machines you will be using.
